Echo Five Sierra provides professional firearm and NFA transfer services with straightforward, transparent pricing. Our goal is to make the process simple and efficient while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
FFL Transfer Fees
Standard Firearm Transfer — $30
Processing of one firearm through the required ATF Form 4473.
Additional Firearms — $10 each
Applies to additional firearms processed on the same eligible ATF Form 4473.
Nevada Background Check — $25
Applies per transaction when a Nevada background check is required. Qualifying exemptions will be honored in accordance with applicable law.
Military, First Responder & Law Enforcement
Echo Five Sierra proudly offers discounted transfer pricing to active-duty military, veterans, law enforcement, firefighters, EMS personnel, and qualifying first responders.
First Firearm — $20
Each Additional Firearm — $10
Valid identification or proof of eligibility may be required.
Private-Party Firearm Transfers
Echo Five Sierra offers private-party firearm transfers in accordance with applicable Nevada and federal law.
Private-Party Transfer — $30
Nevada Background Check — $25 when required
Additional Firearms — $10 each when processed as part of the same eligible transaction.
Both parties should contact EFS before the transfer to schedule an appointment and confirm required identification and documentation.
The purchaser must complete the required ATF Form 4473 and satisfy all applicable background-check and eligibility requirements before the firearm may be released.
Transfer and background-check fees are non-refundable once processing has begun.
SOT / NFA Transfers
NFA Transfer — $75 per item
Our NFA transfer service includes receiving and securing the item, required recordkeeping, transfer documentation, and assistance through the applicable ATF transfer process.
NFA-regulated items will not be released until all required approvals and transfer requirements have been satisfied.
ATF tax payments, fingerprinting, photographs, trust preparation, engraving, or other third-party expenses are not included unless specifically stated.
Outgoing Firearm Transfers & Shipping
Outgoing Transfer / Shipping Service — $45 + actual shipping and insurance
Echo Five Sierra can arrange shipment of firearms to appropriately licensed recipients. Receiving FFL information must be verified before shipment.
The customer is responsible for actual shipping, insurance, and any applicable carrier charges.
Before You Ship to EFS
Please contact Echo Five Sierra before having any firearm or NFA item shipped to us.
This allows us to confirm the transfer, exchange required license information with the seller or transferring dealer, and ensure we are prepared to receive your item.
Please do not assume that an online retailer has contacted EFS simply because Echo Five Sierra was selected as the receiving dealer during checkout.
Picking Up Your Firearm
Please wait until EFS contacts you before arriving for pickup.
Carrier tracking showing that a package has been delivered does not necessarily mean the firearm has been received into our records and is ready for transfer.
The individual receiving the firearm must provide acceptable, current government-issued photo identification and complete all required transfer documentation. Additional identification or documentation may be required depending on the transaction.
The actual purchaser/transferee must complete ATF Form 4473.
Background Check Delays & Denials
A background-check delay is not a denial, but it may prevent immediate transfer of the firearm.
Echo Five Sierra will only release firearms when the transaction may lawfully proceed and all applicable transfer requirements have been satisfied.
A firearm will not be transferred following a denied background-check response unless the denial is subsequently resolved and the transaction may legally proceed.
Transfer and background-check fees are non-refundable once processing has begun.
Customers are responsible for costs associated with returning, shipping, storing, or otherwise lawfully disposing of a firearm that cannot be transferred.
Unclaimed Firearms & Storage
Customers will be contacted when their firearm is ready for transfer.
First 30 days after notification — No storage charge
After 30 days — $25 per additional 30-day period
Items left for an extended period remain subject to applicable laws and EFS policies.
Any return shipment, alternative lawful disposition, or additional handling involving an unclaimed firearm may result in additional fees.
Returns to Seller
If a firearm must be returned to the originating dealer or seller:
Return Processing — $45 + actual shipping and insurance
Returns will only be completed when legally permissible and after the receiving party's information has been verified.
Any refund for the firearm or merchandise itself is strictly between the purchaser and original seller.
EFS transfer, background-check, processing, storage, shipping, and insurance fees are non-refundable once incurred.
Special Orders & Unusual Transfers
Transfers or services requiring unusual handling, additional documentation, multiple shipments, extended storage, or circumstances outside a standard firearm transfer may incur additional charges.
Please contact EFS before purchasing or shipping if you are unsure how your transaction should be handled. We are happy to determine the appropriate process and applicable fees before the firearm arrives.
